
Russia on Monday claimed that Ukraine's 15 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 15 tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, five large-caliber artillery pieces and a number of other targets were hit last night.
The air defense systems also shot down nine shells of Smerch multiple rocket launcher, Russian Defense Ministry's spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a press briefing in Moscow.
According to him, high-precision air-based missiles hit two command points, and 34 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, while aviation hit three command points and 67 more areas of deployment of the Ukrainian troops.
Konashenkov said up to 320 nationalists were neutralized and 47 units of weapons and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed as a result of airstrikes during the day.
The rocket forces hit 62 command points, 593 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, and 55 artillery and mortar batteries in firing positions, he added.
Also, four installations of the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system, 46 units of weapons and Ukrainian military equipment, and an ammunition depot were destroyed, the spokesman noted.
"In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 183 aircraft, 128 helicopters, 1,064 unmanned aerial vehicles, 325 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,323 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 451 multiple rocket launchers, 1,731 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 3,294 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed," he said.
