Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday welcomed Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah with an official ceremony at the capital Ankara's Esenboga Airport.
The visit, which coincides with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations, marks the first visit at the level of emir from Kuwait to Türkiye after a gap of seven years.
Emir's visit to Türkiye is his first official trip outside of the Arab world.
After bilateral inter-delegation meetings, ceremonies for state order awards and agreement signings will follow.
