US President-elect Trump will 'find a way' to preserve TikTok, says incoming national security adviser

US President-elect Donald Trump intends to take action both to ensure continued access to TikTok and to safeguard users’ data, according to his incoming national security advisor.

"TikTok itself is a fantastic platform," Mike Waltz told Fox News in a Wednesday interview.

"The algorithm is amazing. We’re going to find a way to preserve it but protect people’s data," he added, referring to a US law requiring its Chinese owners to sell the platform to US owners or it will be banned, over security concerns.
